On the rooftop of Flat No. 4, Pocket E,
Mayur Vihar, Phase III, Delhi 110091

Kala Mandali, Delhi inaugurated a new rooftop theatre space at the above address which will regularly invite artists from music, dance and drama to perform for the local community. This is a beautiful play. As the performance started the Moon, little less than full also started its journey up in the sky, appeared in front of the stage. The cool breeze of October might be coming from the lake behind the building was pleasent. The show was gripping and spectators enjoyed. They are new spectators and hope they will be the spectators in the coming shows.

It's an Kala Mandali initiative to take theatre close to the community. A need to dialogue some thing human when market has overpowered media and other electronic mediums. Books are getting less importance. Reading is not for knowledge and growth of self and rational thinking. This kind of spaces are very important for theatre, meaningful theatre to survive.

Mr. L D Joshi, who is the owner of the space has dedicated this rooftop for performiong arts.
